Join us for a hosted fly fishing adventure at El Pescador Lodge in Belize—one of the Caribbean’s premier saltwater destinations. Fish the legendary flats of Ambergris Caye for permit, bonefish, and tarpon with expert local guides and the added support of a Natives Fly Fishing host.

Guests can choose a 3, 4, 5, or 6-night stay within these hosted dates, allowing you to customize the length of your trip while still being part of the group experience.

Trip Details

El Pescador Lodge combines comfort with authentic Caribbean charm on the shores of Ambergris Caye. Guests enjoy spacious accommodations, excellent cuisine, and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding after a day on the flats. The lodge offers a welcoming staff, a full bar, and access to amenities that make the experience both comfortable and memorable.

What’s Included
Lodging at El Pescador Lodge; Roundtrip transfers between Belize International Airport (BZE) and the lodge; All meals and hors d'oeuvres; Belizean beverages including soda, beer, and rum; Guided fishing with professional local guides; Boats and fishing program; Complimentary use of lodge amenities; Loaner/demo fishing equipment (first come, first served).

Rates are based on double occupancy and two anglers per boat.

3 Nights / 2 Days Fishing – $2,556
4 Nights / 3 Days Fishing – $3,228

Guests fly into Belize International Airport (BZE). Transfers include a short local flight to San Pedro followed by a quick boat ride to the lodge. Arrivals and departures are best scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm.

U.S. citizens need a valid passport and return ticket to enter Belize. Immigration forms should be completed prior to arrival.

Lightweight fishing clothing, sun protection, polarized sunglasses, rain jacket, hat, sunscreen (SPF 30+), bug spray, comfortable footwear, passport, and cash for tips. Dress at the lodge is casual.

Lodge Staff:~$40 per guest per day (pooled).
Fishing Guides:$125–$150 per boat per day, given directly in cash.
Tours:15–20% customary.

A fully stocked fly shop is available. Demo rods, reels, and lines are offered first come, first served. Flies, leaders, and tippet are available for purchase.

Is this trip guided?
Yes. Fishing is fully guided with El Pescador’s experienced local guides.

Do I need saltwater fly fishing experience?
No. All skill levels are welcome.

What fish can I expect to target?
Permit, bonefish, and tarpon are the primary species, with opportunities for snook, barracuda, snapper, and more.

Is this trip hosted?
Yes. Natives Fly Fishing provides a trip host who helps ensure a smooth travel experience and provides support throughout the trip.
