This giant of a rod took a long time to develop. We had blanks tested for big game in both salt and fresh water. They held up great, cast better than many rods twice the price, and those who fished them couldn't believe where we were going with the full design — or the price tag. This rod is built for the biggest fish in the water. Bonefish, tarpon, permit, salmon, pike, musky, stripers, and so much more are going to meet their match with this rod. But when we were developing the GOLIATH, we wanted to do something new. We were tired of the bland, same-old fly rods — grays, blacks, olives, and browns covering every rod from every major manufacturer. So we changed that. A matte blue/gray blank with chartreuse wraps and a purple accent, matched with a black, chartreuse, and white swirled Winn golf grip. And best of all: a completely original art piece by artist Ryan Keene above the handle and wrapping the rod tube. This is the rod everyone will be staring at while you out-fish them.
