Appalachian bucktails are tails from whitetail deer harvested right here in West Virginia in the past deer season. These bucktails spin up some awesome flies and they are tanned and dyed by the Natives crew here in our fly shop. Please note the below grades of each bucktail. These are determined by the length of the hair fibers. **Pictures Are To Show Color, Not The Actual Bucktail Being Sold**
AAA- 4 Inch or More Hair Fibers
AA- 3 to 4 Inch Hair Fibers ( 80% of our Tails)
A - 1.5 to 3 Inch Hair Fibers (or damnaged AA and AAA Tails)
